Description:
Ever wish, with all of the new improved, sweet-looking content coming out, that someone would take it upon themselves to dress up the main menu and such? If you just answered 'yes', then you're in luck...and in the right place! 6th Venom has the answer to this particular quandary, and in addition to the new look, 6th Venom's Doom 3 HQ Mainmenu also comes equipped with some snazzy new features. In the words of the developer: "This Pack is my attempt to update the Doom 3 mainmenu (gui) to something more 2008-ish", and that it does...it's must nicer to look at and use then the stock version.

With 6th Venom's Doom 3 HQ Mainmenu, everything is now clearer and sharper, no more blurriness, with a new skin chooser, and other custom assets, so it's fully compatible with virtually any mod that doesn't change the mainmenu.
    Some features included with this mod are:
    • New options added
    • New mp skin chooser with a rotating player
    • Sharper then before
    • Does not include any game dll's
    • As a bonus, an IconLibrary has been added
    • And a lot more!

6th Venom has also stated that a Resurrection of Evil version will be released some time soon, as will a Denton Revision. How cool is that?! This is a must have!

6th Venom's Doom3 HQ mainmenu
for id Software Doom 3 (1.3 minimum)

ABOUT:
This Pack is my attempt to update the Doom 3 mainmenu (gui) to something more 2008-ish.
Everything is now unblurred, add new options, new mp skin chooser with a rotating player, and a lot more.
This Pack don't contains any Game dll, only custom assets, so it's fully compatible with virtually any mod
that didn't changed the mainmenu.
I included as a bonus an IconLibrary (dll) who contains various windows icons i use for recognize D3 assets.

Give it a try, you'll keep it. ;)

INSTALLATION:
Just put this PK4 into your doom 3 base folder.
To remove it, just erase/move zpakv00.pk4 from your base folder.

IMPORTANT: only work with Doom 3 patched version (1.3 minimum)

KNOWN BUGS:
Be sure to Re-apply some of your Graphics settings by menu due to how this one handle screen size etc. (mode -1)
