Quote:
A single player map that puts the player in a pit full of demons. The player
must travel downward in the pit watching out for demons and traps. Map is a
first work ever by author and will be a level in upcoming MOD/Expansion called
'DooM 3; Hell Awaits'. This map is ßeta quality and in no way will resemble the
end product.

WHAT'S NEW:

More detail was added.
More enemies was added.
Ambient and background sounds added.
Blue pit will now exit the level. Planetdoom.com's tutorial was wrong, dont
set 'endOfGame' key's value to '1', but to 'true'.


KNOWN BUGS:

BSP Compile Warnings - WARNING: backwards triangle generated! caused by support pilar for
spiral stairs, looking into.
WARNING: node without a volume! unknown cause, looking into.


TODO:

Make Archvile spawn other enemies.
Find a better earthquake sound.
Add more traps.
Add PDA and missions (Waiting for the tutorials on this one)
Add a few more secrets.
Optimization of map.


Installation and Execution:

Unzip all files to Doom 3\base\Maps diecrtory, then run the game and go to the
game console and type 'map boneyards' and press enter.

No red Fog when i played this map (like on the 1. screenshot)

Posts: 53 		Yes this level can be quite hard, unless you find the BFG hidden in the first parts of the map and even then if you dont whatch your step on the way down. Finding the secrets is what makes this map much easier though.

BTW, I've already got v1.0.2 ready. It mixes up a few weapon placements and
adds DooM/DooM 2 music, plus I finally PK4'ed it. smile

Posts: 134 		Kinda looks like a big budget horror flick turned map. gives that scary vibe though 9.5/10
