Description:
Being fed up with all these punks trying to recreate what I think is the most enjoyable MP map of alltime, I decided one day to do the same. But I think my version goes a little farther than all the rest.

Utilizing my acquired mapping skills (which by the way still need a lot of improvement, and I mean A LOT), I achieved what I think is the most accurate recreation of the Facility from the classic N64 FPS title, "GoldenEye 007".

I know it's not very perfect, but it's better than the recretions I've seen on D3Files. And this was my first attempt at a detailed map. Anyway, I hope to improve my mapping skills, and I hope you enjoy this little MP map wink

Copy and paste the 'dm_facility' PK4 to the following directory: C:\Program Files\DOOM 3\base It's as simple as that. Now, start a new MP game, and presto, the Facility from the greatest FPS "GoldenEye" is ready to be played! //////+++++++++++++++++ //Map Info: //////+++++++++++++++++ Title: Chemical Weapons Facility File Name: dm_facility.pk4 Author: Rob B. aka music25 Requirements: Retail DOOM 3 (Full Version); compatible with DOOM 3 ROE Description: D3 recreation of the GoldenEye Facility. MP map suitable for 4 players (8 would be kinda pushin' it, as this map is fairly small). There are plenty of weapons to be had, and many spawn points (13 at least - that's a lot for such a small map!). Game Types: DeathMatch, Team DM, Tourney, & Last Man Standing New Sounds: No (But you could my sound pack) New Music: No New Textures: No BUILD INFO** Editor Used: DOOM Radiant v1.0 Build 199 (under DOOM 3 v1.3) Known Bugs: None currently, but if you find one, let me know right away so I can fix it. Build Time: Technically, it took me about 1 1/2 months, but it was on and off labour, so about 4 1/2 months. Notes: This map was built entirely from scratch, taking great care to recreate the original MP map, but also to make the original better than it was, utilizing detail from the movie the game was based on. As an added bonus, I also included an unfinished "Extended Mix" of this map. It was the one I orignally intended to release, but because my mapping skills are worth shit right now, I couldn't finish it. Extract it from the PK4 if you want to see how far I went, and if you like, you could finish it for me if want.
