Description:
We have a big release from one of the D3Files Hosted Sites! Flaming Sheep Software has produced this Final version of their super popular mod to appease those who have recently bought Doom 3 via the steam download service, or those who wish to play the mod running Doom 3 patch 1.3.1! This is the exe version, the zip package will be mirrored tomorrow.
Over the past month, since the release of Doom 3 on the Steam network, a number of team members were contacted exponentially by players about errors with Classic Doom 3 1.1 when used with the Steam version of Doom 3. The result is that Classic Doom 3 1.1 did not work correctly due to the steam version of Doom 3 being fully patched to version 1.3.1. Several of the past members of Flaming Sheep Software have come together to resolve these issues once and for all, and, much to the happiness of the Doom 3 community, they have tweaked the mod further to improve the gaming experience!
Classic Doom 1.3.1 is a full mod release that has been fully tested as compatible under the following versions of Doom 3:
Steam Doom 3
Windows Doom 3
Linux Doom 3 Patch 1.3.1
Mac Doom 3 Patch 1.3.1
In case you have been hunting flies in the heart of the Brazilian rain forest, or maby you had your tongue stuck on an icy pole, waiting for a medical breakthrough to have it released...whatever the case, Classic Doom 3 is just what the title implies...a return to the Classic Doom!

It is that time again, we have put together a new “final” release of our mod, Classic Doom 3 to satiate those who have recently bought Doom 3 via the steam download service, or those who wish to play the mod running Doom 3 patch 1.3.1. The download links for the new mod follow, and mirrors will be updated as and when they go live:
When Doom 3 patch 1.3.1 was originally released, we did not update the code as it was not seen as a major update to the base Doom 3 game. Due to this, the past Flaming Sheep Software coder SnoopJedi released an update patch, 1.2, for Classic Doom 3 on his own accord, which gave compatibility with version 1.3.1 of Doom 3, but introduced a number of fatal bugs.
Over the past month, since the release of Doom 3 on the Steam network, a number of team members were contacted exponentially by players about errors with Classic Doom 3 1.1 when used with the Steam version of Doom 3. What transpired is that Classic Doom 3 1.1 did not work correctly due to the steam version of Doom 3 being fully patched to version 1.3.1.

Classic Doom 1.3.1 is a full mod release that has been fully tested as compatible under the following versions of Doom 3:
Steam Doom 3
This version should work without any updates as Doom 3 patch version 1.3.1 is included when purchased on steam. Simply download the zip or windows installation packages to play the mod.
Windows Doom 3
You are required to download Doom 3 patch 1.3.1 alongside our mod to enable it to work with a retail version of the game. The patch required can be downloaded from our host at the follow location:

Linux Doom 3
As with the Windows version of Doom 3, you are required to download Doom 3 patch 1.3.1 for Linux operating system before installing Classic Doom 3 1.3.1. You can get the required patch from the following location:

Mac Doom 3
While it hasn't been tested due to not being able to find a tester who owns a mac, this release has been built for mac users as well. We hope the code works. It to like every other OS, requires the 1.3.1A patch which can be found at the following:

The folks from the In Hell mod for DOOM 3 have released the latest version, entitled the Director's Cut. So just what is the Directors Cut of In Hell? Well if you're polished up on your German, you can read the description right here, otherwise, here's the run down from the creators
" The Directors includes new bigger maps with a great architecture and more atmospheric effects and fits perfect in the existing more polished levels. The whole thing is more balanced; performance is better and runs more stable… Play it and you will see it’s very exciting what Doom has been created!"

If I may pass along a minor suggestion tweak, on your door frames that are already unlocked, but are still showing orange lights as if they were locked, if you add to the func_static "shaderparm7" with the value of "1" the orange lights on the door frame will show as green indicating that they are already unlocked. Unless you did that on purpose anyway. Either way -  |

Using this mod u can play the classic doom 3 episode 2 ? Because in this mod u playing Doom 1 episode 1 in doom 3 style.

Posts: 29 | If you download the latest version of Last Man Standing Coop, they have a mode in their mod to allow you to play all the CDoom levels cooperatively. Using the CDoom 1.3.1 right here, you are able to play the levels in Single Player and Deathmatch. |
