D3 FullShadows (v1.3 | Base) - File Description  


Description:
Dafama makes his return to D3Files, to provide you with his latest and greatest mod which improves the realism and increases your Doom III gaming experience! For those not in-the-know, D3 FullShadows changes your game so that all of the lights in Doom III will throw of shadows, so just like in real life, when light is blocked by a surface, or object, there is no light cast past it.

    The change in this version include:
    • Fixed bugs
    • Updated shaders.


Note: - This version is for D3 Base only, for the RoE version, click here.

D3 FullShadows v1.3



This mod makes Doom3 do all lights with full shadows in the maps of the singleplayer Retail game and ROE Expansion pack.

Now, all lights will have shadows..., from a simple led to the lights of Mars surface !!!



History...:

v1.3 - Fixed bugs & updated shaders.

v1.0 - First release.


Attention !...: This mod needs at least v1.3 patch !

but it would be better if there was self-shawoding fearures included too.

This mod contains some .pk4's that are resources of features that i use in many of my mods, there are bug fixed .def files for D3 base & roe, for example the RocketLauncher and BFG weapons have a small bugs in they're files, even with latest patch installed, also the Vulgar monster doesn't show light and shadows when they are creating a fireball, this and other things have been fixed, well, then can be my new bugs, but i hope there aren't too much and i will fix any bugs that everyone tell me they found.

Also the particles for the smoke are more white, than the original ugly black smoke !

But to enable the fullshadows sp maps this files are NOT needed, to add the fullshadows to our mod you only need the file named zyz_mapsfullshadows.pk4 that can be added to base folder to enable full shadows in all mods and nothing more.

wow dafama i think all the other modders have given up modding cause your mods are owning them.

intel core 2 duo e6550 rated for 3.4GHz per core
4gb ddr2 800mhz geil ultra
evga geforce 8800gts rated so it works as 8800gtx
and other nice stuff
Dafama's mods kicks other mods **** big grin Because it looks great but for now, i noticed only one fps fall in dafama's mod from 60 to 59 stick out tongue

yes, whenever Dafama releases a mod, which is almost on a daily basis wink we all KNOW its top of the notch quality, but WHOS the jealous, pathetic and ubernoobic individual that keeps voting a zero????

Thanks for messing up my game, my dear!! I can't change ANY lovely settings and the game lags like roses!! In the future I will remember that cursing is against the rules, and I will avoid cursing so the admins don't abuse my text like this.

I love this mod...but there's only one problem.

It messes up my window and fire shaders! Now I get this wierd bubble-like mirror effect...it gets a little disorienting in a firefight, and it makes it a little hard to play the game.

I have the base game only, the Steam version, and an ATI Radeon 1250 GFX card...anything I can do to fix it?
