Dust2dust - File Description  


Description:
Dust2dust consists of two single-player levels for Doom 3. I've changed the normal d3 gameplay a bit: there are more monsters and faster action, but there will always be a way to kill them without being hurt. So you always run faster than the vanilla d3 (you don't need to sprint anymore). I made these maps to become familiar with the D3 engine and I had a great time working on them. big grin

How to launch:

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:

1)IN THE SECOND MAP QUICKLOAD DOESN'T WORK:DO NOT USE IT!!(anyway you won't need it,I hope)
2)BEFORE LOADING THE SECOND MAP YOU MUST RESTART DOOM3(otherwise you will have serious performance issues)


Please unzip all .zip file contents into the DOOM 3 folder.
Make sure to mantain the right subfolder structure:the .pk4 must be in the folder dust2dust,which must be placed under doom3 folder,not under doom3/base !
For example: C:\Program files\doom3\dust2dust\dust2dust.pk4



First map:run Doom 3, open the Mods menu, and select 'Dust2dust' .Then bring down the console (ctrl+alt+~) and type in 'map ot1'.

Second map: restart Doom 3, open the Mods menu, and select 'Dust2dust' .Then bring down the console (ctrl+alt+~) and type in 'map sole1bak'.

NIce map, but man! The Frame rate is annoying. aw well, nice one with the zombie and the gas tank on his back, ownedddd!!!

if you are having frame rate problems on the second map you have to restart doom 3 before u load it up. Happy fraggin'

yeh this is greate but i find why it has bad performance is because you add to much monster and you didnt optimize the map complete as expected but is cooll yea is cool good action are you doing more? RockBeer! Beer!
