Enhanced Gore 3 (v3.1 | Final FIXED) - File Description  


Description:
Dafama2K7 is back, and he is here to once again make your Doom III gaming experience better! ...How is he going to do that? Glad you asked; He has taken a great mod, and put some time, talent and know-how into it and improved it so that it has surpassed it's former state! Some of you may remember Enhanced Gore 3 (final), originally developed by Tets, and some of you may remember that it had some small bugs as well as one big bug that prevented players from loading any saved game...well, the good news is that these have been fixed, along with a few other minor issues.
    Some of the fixes included are:
    • Flash Time on all weapons fixed.
    • Textures & models for LostSoul, for decals and particles fixed (both .DDS & .TGA textures).
    • Clip size increassed for Chaingun weapon to 120.
    • Fixed start screen, now it runs for both compressed and uncompressed textures.
    • Increassed damage on shotgun.
    • Fixed HUD GUI, now it shows NPC names.
    • And more

Enhanced Gore 3 (v3.1 | Final FIXED) is not a reworked mod, and you'll notice that it does not carry the "NG" tag, this is because the essence of this mod has not been changed, it is as it was when it was originally released...it's just fixed now. Dafama2K7 has stated that he may do more at a later time and add to this mod, but for now, this is just a 'fixed' version.

To INSTALL EnhancedGore3Final extract 'EnhancedGore3' folder to your Doom³ directory.
To PLAY 'EnhancedGore3' Run 'EnhancedGore.bat' in your 'EnhancedGore3' Folder.
Or Run 'Doom3.exe' and select 'EnhancedGore3' in modlist ('Mods' in Menu).

Although i want to make clear that the NEW NG shaders, (NVidia version was used in the screenshots), are NOT included with the mod. But will be available soon with a NEW release of the latest NG shaders. smile

I refer to middle to big mods, but also many small mods are fixed and in any case, it's just a moment to fix a small mod, he he !!!

Next mod that we want to be fixed and/or updated ??? Resistance is Futile!

Does anyone know how I could use both this and Faiakes Alt. Extended with this mod? I don't like instant gibs like in Faiakes, but the rest of his mod is awesome, and I desperately need this enhanced gore. Would I simply unzip and put the files from this mod in with the files for Faiakes mod and re-compress the mod?

Also, is this compatible with Resurrection of Evil?

I only just tried to run this mod, but sadly, the bloodspray from enemies getting hit by bullets only appears as series of white boxes, not a bloodspray. I'm running it from a Doom 3 shortcut with the line +set fs_game enhancedgore3final at the end of the target line in the shortcut, mainly because when I run the .bat file, I get horrible input lag (Keyboard strokes taking 2-5 seconds to register, including hold and release lag for movement, meaning if I hold it for 3 seconds, I'll keep going about 1.5 seconds after I release).

Hope someone can help me with this, and thanks in advance.

save files still corrupted. i have geforce 7800gt, ultra settings, and amd 3800+ and still system crash when loading a save file or quick save file. only auto saves work for me. Have to start over everytime i die.

Hi dafama great to see all the work youve done on all your mods but this one doesnt work for me! when i shoot someone instead of gore coming out of them i get these big white squares and rectangles coming out of the enemies and fading away as they fall.. i have doom version 1.3 and an 8800 GT with the latest forceware. any ideas?
