Enhanced Shaders (v1.0) - File Description

Description:
Here we have a new mod from the talented Dafama2K7! This mod will 'WOW' you with some sweet looking textures! Your game will take on a whole new look as each and every model and texture come to life with a more fun and realistic look than ever!

Enhanced Shaders is intended for those that have an ATI or NVidia gfx card with GL Vertex v2.0 or higher; To toggle between the ATI and NVidia shader modes press the keypad "/" key (KP_SLASH). This key has binded the (toggle r_testARBProgram) command, if you want to bind it to another key, this can be done by opening the console in-game or place this command to the autoexec.cfg in mod's folder.

Well, I wish I could see the new shaders but again it doesn't work on my ATI X1600. Does it fit the requirements? And if my card does meet the requirements please fix all your graphic mods that don't work on my card!

To toggle between the ATI and NVidia shader modes press the keypad / key (KP_SLASH).

This key has binded the (toggle r_testARBProgram) command if you want to bind it to another key can be done by opening the console in game or place this command to the autoexec.cfg on mod's folder.

bind kp_slash "toggle r_testARBProgram"

Substitute kp_slash for the key you want to bind it that command.

Also if the language is wrong do this or the text has garbage do this...

sys_lang english

reloadLanguage

reloadSounds

The next time the game is started it will appear correctly.

Lastly, i want to remember that this mod can be used in they're own with the folders mod or can be used also as the default shaders placing the glprogs folder into the base and d3xp folders or any other mod folder you want to use it with this shaders.

But do not contain new levels, new A.I. or new sounds.

The shaders that i already have made now and i am enjoying are a big step further on the high quality gfx on D3, Q4 and Prey, on both ATI and NVidia versions !!!

Soon will be here the new enhanced shaders, BHNG, Parallax E., Relief E. with this new improvements made, we will like it, sure... smile

Before the NVidia shaders where better, but now i have been able to make the ATI & NVidia compatible with both in one version to not only equal quality to the old NVidia only, but now, higher quality, faster speed and fully compatible with both gfx cards on one & only version, v1.4 soon on d3files (but first it will be posted the v1.3 with the latest in the old way enhanced shaders)...
