This is something a lot of you GreenTech fans out there have been waiting for! As the original developer is no longer updating or supporting this mod, the torch has been handed on to another, so that your Doom III gaming experience will only get better! Dafama2K7 has received permission from Gyppi to update his previously released works: "Hello, i have talked with GTX & GreenTech developer Gyppi and he said that it let's me to publish and update they're mods as longe as i clearly state that he no longer supports or will support any of the latest updates made by me." ...So it is with great anticipation that I bring to you the first updated version of this mod since the last official release in 2005! GreenTech is a graphic mod developed for Doom3 that enhances your gaming experience with new graphic effects never seen before in Doom!

Some of the features of this mod are:

All weapons, without the chainsaw, grenades and the soulcube, have an integrated flashlight
The flame, when you shoot is green
Many skins of guns are green
More clip for all the weapons
The pistol and the plasma gun, are more quickly to shot
Edited two posters, the first two in the first level
Edited the textures of PDAs
Deleted the UAC logo and replaced with the "TECH" logo
Maximized the life to 150
Maximized the armor to 150
New loading background
New texture for "mars"
Many skins of characters are green
Added the shadow in single player mode
Increased the speed of the player
Added a remixed shotgun like the Doom II game

This mod makes Doom III much better then the stock version, it will change the whole ambiance and atmosphere of your whole Doom universe, while adding a bit of that eerie Aliens look...a winning combination, for sure!

Some of the changes in this version include:

Added files such as:
- Shaders
- Particles
- FX
Improved some scripts
Improved some defs

now this is making me a little confused

why was the 1.6 added before this

Green Tech is different from GTX .

GTX is one mod and GreenTech is another, both classic versions are made by the same author, Gyppi, of course, and i am creating updated & unofficial versions with all the respect for the original author, because i admire all his work, and in fact is because this that i update and fix many of my favorite and most admired developers works, i don't want anything, i only want to keep the Doom family growing and healthier and to do a tribute to all that classic mods and developers.

And i enjoy very much making and updating and playing, ha ha, crick crack, poom, crick, crack, poom !!! big grin

What I'm doing now is that I'm waiting in a dark cave for dafama.
for his ultimate mod ...and that mod is.....RoE for Doom3!!
wich you can play roe maps n mods with doom3...but..sry dafama that I have talked like this, but your the only one active Hardcore modmaker for this game and I'm rly proud of you..but I dont want to make you angry by asking too much..make mods for this fantastic game 4ev3r my friend.

It's only that i have found many bugs in my mods updates and i have to fixed them and update also.

Then now, my first priority is to finish the latest Unpredictable mods that has many new features and updates but i have to fix some bugs i know it has, i hope today i can fix all this bugs and i can upload Unpredictable v2 for D3 tomorrow...

I always thought this was Gyppi's best work. I liked Green Tech more so than GTX. Deff gonna give this a try. Thanks dafama2k7/Gyppi big grin
