Description:
Adolif has dropped by Doom3Files to show of a WIP mod titled ID-Halo, A mod that aims to implement content from Halo's free trial.

The project is very early, and has a poor graphical appearance, but will get better with time.

	Readme File: Author: Adolif Mod Name: ID-Halo Email Address: a_d0gs_life2@yahoo.com Notes: This mod is all about Halo. If you don't like Halo, then turn back now. Well, here is a W.I.P. Halo mod for D00M3. Just a note: All the files in this mod are able to be found in the Halo free trial or off googles image search. The Halo trial has no time limitations, just reduced content. Therefore, this content should be legal to use. The mod features (so far): -Halo-style menu with a Halo-related song (from youtube, and its free) -One multiplayer map, "Bloodgulch". -Covenant elite ai in the multiplayer map. -Assualt Rifle replaces machine gun. The ultimate goal of this project is to create a full-fledged Halo recreation for D00M3 while legally using Halo content and custom content. Stuff for next release: -D00M3 marine will be replaced with Master Chief. -There will be grunts, hunters, jackels, marines, and any other ai found in the Halo trial. (which means NO flood!) -More Halo weapons from the Halo trial. -More maps (maps made from scratch only, because the Halo trial only has one multiplayer map) Bugs: -Bloodgulchs UV mapping is weird, and so is the lighting. O_o The map will be re-UV'ed and will be re-textured next release. -This isn't a bug, but it hasn't been fixed either. The elites shoot fireballs from their hands like imps. I know right now its crap, but it'll get better. ;) Enjoy! (if you can)

The content of the trial is still copyrighted, you agreed to that when you installed it, awesome that you made this; Finally something interesting for the community, but you just need to be aware of the copyright issue.

I never said it wasnt copyrighted, I just said it should be legal.

Copyright applies to many songs on youtube for instance, and some of them have their copyright "infringement" resolved because of their lack of irresponsible usage. I'm applying the same concept here. Since the content is free (although still copyrighted) it shouldn't matter whether its running in one game engine or another.

Pretty darn cool, I noticed you carried over the animation for the assault rifle from halo. You should try and do a halo weapons mod and I will praise you as my lord.

Cool concept.

I actually think it'd be cool to see the Halo AI characters in a fight against the Doom 3 AI characters. The damage and health scales for the weapons and NPCs in both games is actually pretty much within the same range, so it'd be a good fit.

Good work, good luck, and I hope you don't get Fox'd.

Nemises thinks its illegal cuz in the old world or mostly in europe laws are very strict so ppl may get confused. A person from britan said free downloading is 99.9 percent illegal. Im like no its not
