Description:
This is a neat little tool created by Gyppi that a lot of you modders out there will find super useful! This tool is an automatic unpacker manager for games based on IdTech4 engine (also called Trinity) which supports Doom3, Quake 4, Prey and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. It is useful to unpack the entire game data preserving the "game's view" folder and file structure.

This software was developed in Microsoft Visual C# 2008, which is 32bit software, it works on Microsoft Windows 2000/XP SP2/2003/Vista, it requires the Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0, or newer version, and the Microsoft J# 2.0 redistributable files.

But this is still awsome ..

I hope you can make an update for your awesome mods for Doom 3 and Quake IV ! smile

Cool, but i have winzip and don't have any need for such a tool.

i have winzip and windrar, but i still think this could be helpful. It looks nice anyway, i'll give it a try.

dafama2k7: Currently, GTX for Quake4 is complete, GTX for D3 needs more work to be bug-free and, at this time, I have to think to things a bit more "importants" smile

Hardcore_gamer: Well, this tool is very different from Winzip or Winrar. Winzip (and Winrar) doesn't extracts all files from all pk4s at the same time, you have to open a pk4, extract its files, then open the next pk4 and go ahead. This tool does all of this automatically wink

Because this will be the last �? game that uses IdTech4 before new IdTech5 games come on scene. smile

Maybe, currently the tool already manage to self extract all files from pk4s archives in a selected folder, it means that when RTCW2 will be available, you can automatically extract all its file by using the function "Unpack from a folder" and selecting the game installation folder.

shame one MUST have micro$$oft framework otherwise id use this, altho renaming the pk4 works jsut fine stick out tongue
