Description: Great news! This mod works both with D3 and RoE!! What does it do, you ask? Well, read on...
So, you're batteling the baddies in cyber-space, and as you're fighting for your life, you wonder..."I wonder how they would look if they had a little more colour..." If this is the case, then wonder no more. This mod will add a little colour to the monsters in Doom3 and Resurrection Of Evil, as well as change the stock marine theme, (characters, weapons, items) to blue for a totally different effect, and adding a different element to your gaming experience.
Something else to look forward to is the fact the this developer has also stated that this mod, aside from being compatible with both Doom3 and RoE, this texture mod will also work no matter what your current installation is patched to, or whatever other mod(s) you may have installed.
Here are some examples of what is changed:
- Marine casual = from green to blue theme.
- Marine combat = from green to blue theme.
- Marine ROE = from green to blue theme.
- Sentry bot = from green to blue theme.
- Machinegun = from green to blue theme.
- Chaingun = from green to blue theme.
- Plasma Rifle = very blue now.
- Rocket Launcher = blue theme with some green.
- Commando Zombie = now reddish skin with black extras.
- Cacodemon = now more reddish with extra detail.
- Revenant = from red to dark blue/green theme.
- Mancubus = now yellowish.
- Archvile = now yellowish.

About:-
- This is a mere texture mod that changes much of Doom3's green
marine theme (characters, weapons, items) to blue, as well as
giving more varied colour to some of the monsters. It also adds
subtle "cubemap reflections" to all weapons. See below for a
list of what is changed and how. I've also sharpened many of the
textures and brightened specularmaps. Finally, I've changed the
Soulcube voice from high-pitched to very low and disturbing,
although you can barely understand what it says now, I find it
suits the game better this way.
Note this mod is fully compatible between Doom3 and ROE, you can
use the same PK4 in both, in its own mod folder or possibly with
other mods, because it contains no scripts other than the
necessary MTR files, so using this texture pack should be
compatible with anything. Also, it shouldn't matter what versions
you are running, it should work fine with any patch.
Installation:-
- Just place the PK4 into your folder of choice. For normal
Doom3 it goes into /base/ and for ROE it goes into /d3xp/ or
you can put it into other mod folders and it _should_ work no
problems, so long as the MTR files do not conflict.

- Double-barrel shotgun = much darker with more specular.
- Machinegun = from green to blue theme.
- Chaingun = from green to blue theme.
- Plasma Rifle = very blue now.
- Rocket Launcher = blue theme with some green.
- Grenades = dark blue colour.
- Armour pickups = from green to blue theme.
- Imp = from gray to brown/purple colour.
- Cherub = now pink/red with extra detail.
- Lost Soul = now more yellowish with extra detail.
- Trite = now dark brown/red and now bleeds red blood.
- Commando Zombie = now reddish skin with black extras.
- Cacodemon = now more reddish with extra detail.
- Revenant = from red to dark blue/green theme.
- Mancubus = now yellowish.
- Archvile = now yellowish.
- Vulgar = very dark with cubemap and more specular.
- GUI cursor = from white arrow to blue "ViolaE" arrow.

Originally this would have a lot of script tweaks to go with it, changes in monster and weapon behaviour, more blood effects, corpses stay, etc., but I made a mess and got lost with what I'd (frankly) STOLEN from other people, and to make it completely compatible with ROE instead of having many different versions, rather than release it with stolen bits of code (not to mention the entire Quake II soundtrack in your PDA) I decided to scrap the whole lot of it and only release the textures and their materials, so all that's left is some personal texture preference. You can mix it with other custom mods yourself anyway so make what you want of it.
I will try it now, i like to see any mods and/or maps appearing for Doom 3, and also i find this mod very original and the author can't be most sincere.
I will go trying it now and i will post some comments next time, i am honestly happy with this, yu ju !!!

Looks very snazzy. I'm impressed by the subtlety and the amount of change it gives.
Are you going to release other colours as well?
It will be better some update on playability and sounds, but the gfx and the change om colours are good.
wow this looks nice just by seeing a pic ! The other day i actually thought about turning the zsecs into a little more ummm "SWAT-like", now i dont have to hehe 
As soon as i get my new card ill def install this and try it out, i must confess i rather like the fact that its "just textures changed" as you put it, then its not too hard mixing it with my own modded scripts/defs etc !
is it OK with you if i include the chaingun texture part on my own upcoming wep mod for doom?? Youll obviously get credit in the readmeh file 
Anyone can use anything they want from this pack, no problem. I can't take any credit at all, id Software takes the credit. They're just recolourisations of the originals. I should have kept and released the mask/alpha images I used, because then anyone can simply take those and easily fix custom colours.
im assuming you used Photoshop for this? Upload those .psd files then we could easily do recolours 
I would if I didn't happen to have already deleted them, sorry to say. I used Paint Shop Pro with JPEGs for alphas. First I used channel splitting, then high contrast to isolate green/yellow/red as much as possible, then some cleaning up (the hard part) and eventually I had an alpha I could filter the blue colourisations through.
