Description:

SIZE vs QUALITY ...i have achieved that very well..as you can see the file size is 2 megabytes....and have around the same graphics as NewDoom 3 v 1.0 which was like 216 megabytes...Now everyone can quickly download this mod and play it without worrying about the long download time (i did have to take out SOME stuff though) but the graphics is still very good if you have it on your highest resolution.....this mod is only compatible with doom 3 v 1.3.1 and also im not actually getting 0 fps or whatever it sais in the screenshots i was just getting that fps for a split second while i was taking the screenshot...plus this is supposed to be v 1.3 but i allready realeased v 1.1 and forgot that i allready had a patch out for v 1.1 but oh well anywho before you hurt your eyes reading all this go download the mod now! smile

	Readme File: I take no responsibility if using my mod will either explode or melt your graphics card..... Anywho, this mod will not work if your doom 3 version is not v 1.3.1 (i think)....i know there is a way to fix that but i forgot.. so if your doom 3 isnt v 1.3.1 quickly download it here..... http://doom3.filefront.com/file/DOOM_3_Patch;76460.....and install it and uh yeah :) CHANGES v1.1 - 1.2 * Mainly trying to push the file size as down as possible "Size vs Quality" and i think 2 megabytes is where its at...and it still has fabulous graphics! Note: i took out the new "pistol model" i didnt like it anyway and i got rid of some menu stuff that took up some space youll probably find out yourself BUT the graphics will look the same as v 1.1 Installation: Move the folder called "NewDoom3v1.2" to your doom 3 folder not your base folder! then launch doom 3 and select "NewDoom3 v 1.2" from the mods list :)

Or, you know, I could just use one of the quality mods that already exist. Seriously, look at your own screenshots. Especially that bright pile of red and yellow diarrhea in the first one. Just because it's a small file doesn't automatically make it a good mod. Crap is crap, no matter the size.

I think this game has enough shader mods. When is someone going to do a retexture project or something? I know there's tons of textures and stuff in the game, but I'm sure it'd be worth the effort.

This doesn't look any better, it just makes the entire game look wet.

It does indeed look horrible. It's like someone ran around the whole game spraying a hose on everything...including the monsters.

Im a noob at this modding business, but if that shiney effect he implimented on surfaces could be limited to certain metal textures, I think it would look rediculously awesome. I like the direction, and am sad this is a final release, but considering feedback, I understand why.
