Plasma Sentry Bot (1.1) - File Description

This mod gives you a Sentry Bot, which follows the player through the game. The Sentry is armed with a plasma gun, instead of the normal machine gun. This mod is based on the mod "GuardSentry" by Nivelxe. AI system originally by Nivelxe, used under permission.

And now the changes since version 1.0:

Both Plasmaguns (player & Sentry Bot) have now lilac-red plasma. The sounds of the plasmagun of the Sentry uses the classic sounds from Doom 1&2.

I put the two mods (GuardSentry Version 2.0 Beta 2 and Plasma Sentry Bot Version 1.1) together.
Please read the GuardSentry.txt from the GuardSentry mod for information about that mod.

Installation:

Open the zip file, extract the pak006.pk4 file (you can keep the directory Sentry Plasma
or copy the pk4 file in the doom3 base folder)
Now start Doom 3, if you keep the directory, select mods menu and then load PlasmaSentry mod.
If you copy the pk4 to the base folder, you can play Doom 3 without loading the mod from the mod menu.
All saved games then will start from the level beginning.


In the game you can use the following keys to call some help:

"G": Calls a Sentry Robot.
"H”: Calls a Sentry Robot with a flashlight.

"I”: Calls a Marine with a machinegun.
"O”: Calls a Marine with a shotgun.

"M”: Calls a Plasma Sentry Robot with a flashlight.
"N": Calls a Plasma Sentry Robot.


Note: I don't know, if this mod works together with other mods
(I tested it with a flashlight mod and that works)
