Description:
This mod is very similar to the "Classic Sounds Soundpack" mod from the same author. But this time, the game sounds (weapons, monsters, items ...) will get replaced by the ones from the console port of the original Doom game. As with "Classic Sounds Soundpack", don't expect a high audio quality. It is worth the try though smile

Description-
Feeling semi-nostalgic? This soundpack changes the sounds of certain Doom 3 monsters with their corresponding Midway PSX Doom sounds. The sounds for all zombies, Imps, Pinkies, Cacodemons, Lost Souls, Mancubi, Revenants, Arch Viles, Hell Knights, Cyberdemon(s), the Player, weapon sounds, pickup sounds, almost all door sounds, teleportation sounds, and the main menu music are changed.

How To Install-
1. Extract pak005.pk4 to your doom3/base directory
2. If there is already a pk4 file named pak005, rename this pk4 file to pak006.pk4, and so on if there's a pk4 file named pak006.
3. Load Doom 3 and the soundpack will take effect.

How to Uninstall-
1. Simply delete this pk4 file.

Credit to-
1. Midway of course, for making the game and the sounds. Please don't sue.
2. Everyone on the Doom 64 Absolution team (http://doomdepot.doom2.net/abs-about.html) where I got the PSX and Doom 64 sound rips. Please don't sue.

Posts: 771 		hehehe this will be very interesting - my 2nd doom experience was with the PSX version (Nintendo64 was the first), im doing my own soundmod for doom3 , but i really must try this stick out tongue
