Red Tiger Skin Weapons - File Description  


Description:
Red Tiger Skin Weapons is an excellent mod if you want to change the look of your weapons...giving some objects a face lift will often change the experience that you have...which is always a good thing! Essentially, this mod will change all weapons by adding the Red Tiger Skins, except for the BFG, grenades, and the Rocket Launcher. The weapon characteristics have also been modified by stylezzzjasonxxx, which will add a bit more of the fun to these new skins!
    This mod includes the following features:
  • Ambient lights
  • Corpses Stay Longer
  • Flashlight Not Washed Out
  • Additional changes by this developer

    Some of the changes in this mod include:
    • Pistol:
      • Red Tiger Skin
      • More powerful sound
      • 10 round capacity
      • Slightly slower fire rate
      • Larger bulletholes
      • Slightly more damage
      • No gibs
    • Shotgun:
      • Red Tiger Skin
      • Better sound
      • Reloads 1 shell at a time
      • Ejects blue shells
      • More pellets
      • Larger spread
      • Less damage per pellet
      • Has more power at close range
      • No gibs
    • Machinegun:
      • Red Tiger Skin
      • 3 bullets per shot
      • Faster fire-rate
      • Lower spread
      • Less damage per bullet
      • No gibs
    • Chaingun:

      • Fires 5 projectiles at once, at 1 ammo cost

Introduction:

The base of the mod that I used was an ambient light mod that i got form a friend of mine. He brought it over on a thumb drive (USB stick), so I don't know exactly who to credit for the brighter lights around the player...

The mod came with a corpses stay option, and i decided to leave it intact when i created my mod.

I was playing COD4, and thought that Doom3 would be cool to have Red tiger skin weapons, so I decided to make some skins that go with my already changed weapons mod.

MOD INCLUDES:

Ambient lights
Corpses Stay Longer
Flashlight Not Washed Out
MY Changes as listed below

Things I Changed:

Pistol:
Red Tiger Skin
more powerful sound
10 round capacity
slightly slower fire rate
larger bulletholes
more damage, but not too much
no gibs

Shotgun:
Red Tiger Skin
better sound
reloads 1 shell at a time
ejects blue shells
more pellets
larger spread
less damage per pellet
makes more power in close range
no gibs

Machinegun:
Red Tiger Skin
3 bullets per shot
faster firerate
lower spread
less damage per bullet
no gibs

Chaingun:
Red Tiger Skin
shotgun sound
ejects blue shotgun shells
sluggish firerate
less damage per bullet
fires 5 projectiles at once, at 1 ammo cost
no gibs

Plasmagun:
Red Tiger Skin
hyperfast plasma speed
100 round capacity
less damage
firerate slightly slower
gibs

Grenades:
Red top instead of yellow
less bouncy
5 second fuse
more splash damage
higher explosion

BFG:
more vivid skin

Rocketlauncher:
slightly faster firerate

Soul CUBE:
gibs
5000 damage instead of 1000





HOW TO INSTALL:

Uzip Red Tiger.zip/rar into your Doom3 folder.

HOW TO USE MOD:

1.) Run Doom3 and go to the "MODS" Section
2.) Select the "Jason X" mod
3.) Start a new game



PERMISSION by stylezzzjasonxxx to do whatever you want to do with the file
as long as it came from Doom3.Filefront.com

I admit I was more interested in the ambient light part of this mod than anything else, but I like weapon skins too. I installed the mod into my coop folders, since I play coop more than vanilla doom. The weapon modifications unbalanced the game far too much, so much to the point where I could go on a suicidal rampage and clear out a level without reloading more than 3 times. I assume this is because it doesn't port well over to coop, so I was wondering if you could send me the separate ambient light part of the mod without the weapon modifications? It would be superb if I could have the new skins too.

Please, add muzzleflashes, because you have changed them for the mounted lights, but it can be added without remove the muzzleflashes, i have a fixed custom version that i have made for me in a couple of minutes, so stylezzzjasonxxx, if you need help, just tell me.
