Description:
This is a Doom3 single player map. When I loaded the map, to be honest , I wasn't expecting too much, as the game officially came out 13 days ago, but I was suprised at the quality that this mission had to offer. When it finally loaded, a tip came up, debriefing you on your mission, which I liked. Throughout the level, you had to use what was given to you or you would die or run out of ammo, making you use most of the weapons, where as in other maps, the weapons are often extra and uneeded. I enjoyed this map, and found that it ran with minimal lag on my system, which is a lot to say for a developer map. The only beef is that, well, I don't think I have one. It was a well rounded map, and even had Super Turbo Turkey Puncher! I highly reccomend a download.

Hello all, I hope that you will enjoy this single-player scenario for Doom III

This level was made by me (MNeMiC) in around 50 hours of total creation time.
It was like a 'test map' to learn the Doom III leveleditor at first but then
then I figured that I could kinda make it into a 'real' level instead of just
creating a small one-room level just to test stuff.

Anyways, here's the instructions on how to play this level:

1.
Place the 'Redemption.pk4' file in your 'Doom 3\base' directory.
(This is by default C:\Program Files\Doom 3\base\)

2.
Open up Doom 3 and bring down the CONSOLE by pressing:
CTRL + ALT + ~. (~ is the button below ESC and to the left of 1)

3.
In the console, just write: "map Redemption"
(without the quotes (" "))

4.
Turn off the lights in your room and prepare for some scary entertainment.

Posts: 1 		Well it's 2145, even "Duke Nuk'em Forever" would have been released by then. Hell it might even be out as a "Game of the Year" edition.

Of course both of those games are complete fiction so who really knows.big grin

Doom Realism started out as just a weapon tweak, but now I've decided to turn it into an unoficial "Expansion Pack" for Doom3...
