|
Description:
The Refueling Station supplies fuel and other valuable materials for Alpha Lab's Hydrocon and the Monorail. Waste products from Recycling Sector 2 are also transfered here for conversion into valuable materials such as fuel and plasma. You are a lone marine who survived the attack and now looking for a way to escape the UAC complex. After your battle though the T-Lab complex you made your way into the Refueling Station only to find out that once again you are not alone.

Warning

This map isn't for everyone. The theme of this map is non-stop killing and those who never played the oringinal Doom games may not feel right at home here. I've done everything I can to balance everything to make the gameplay enjoyable. Many beta testers have played this map and most of them never had any problems with the gameplay. Again there are some really huge fights in the end of this map and some may find it too difficult, even though there are plenty of items to keep the gameplay fair. I really suggest starting on the lowest difficulty setting when first playing this map.

My second released map for Doom3. Its a little better than that I had in my previous map (no multible themes, bad ammo placement etc). This is the second chapter of the lone marine and his battle to escape UAC. While the other marine is making his way to the Delta Labs, you are making your way to the hangar where its your ticket to get out of the complex. I am constantly seeking improvment, if there are any tips or anything that you think would need improvment, please email me.
* How to launch *
Unzip the zip file into your doom3 folder. Then, place the pk4 file in /base/ and the three shortcut files should remain in the main doom3 folder (where doom3.exe is loacted). Click on one of the shortcuts to begin playing.

*Troubleshooting*

The shortcuts finds doom3.exe by default, which is C:\Doom3\Doom3.exe, if its different, please modify the shortcuts so it can locate the exe.
If you still can't launch the shortcuts, then manually launch doom3 and go to the console by pressing alt+ctrl and ~ and set these command lines:
g_skill : values of 0 though 2 will set the difficulty skill. Please set it if you wish to play the map other than on medium skill.
To launch the map manually type map game/samuel/kaiser_2d3

First of all, great map, better than T-Lab complex. 10/10 for me
Second, did you have to cheat on your own map? At the bottom, oxygen is at 0, and your health is that 100
some d1ckhead has just rated this a 1 !!! :-(

Superb, which would come to no surprise to anyone who has played his previous map, T-Lab Complex...and it sounds as if there will be another map in the series...man, he could combine them and sell them as an expansion pack to D3...they're that good.
