Shot Box - File Description  


Description:
With this, his first, file mirrored here on Doom3Files, we welcome $Richman$ to the ranks of developer; Shot Box is made-for-fun map that was created for for his enjoyment, and supplied to you for yours. This map can be played as multiplayer, with some of your friends...or you can play by yourself, and enjoy the single player experience.

This map is essentially three levels of mayhem in the shape of a good size box, with a pit at the bottom where you will find a BFG. If you're lucky, you will find the secret room and with it, a challenge. With three or less players, the confrontations will be stimulating and intense. When there are more then three players, the developer has stated that it will be a bloodbath...sounds like the makings for a fun fragfest-ival to me!!

Well this would be my very first MP map for D3, and i had some fun with it and hopefully you do too!
Note: might be a bit sluggish (laggy) because i was in a hurry and i diden't use "caulk"
======================
INSTALLATION:
Just unpack the file to your D3 base folder and you will be able to then host servers with the map,
OR you can play it in SP by typing in the console: map Shot_Box.
======================
Known Glitches/Bugs:
The only thing i found that was not working was the trigger/hurt in the BFG pit on the lava.
======================
Description:
This is basically a big box map with 3 floors, a pit at the bottom of the lvl with a bfg, and
a secret room that provides a challenge, but a very good reward.
and on a note...once you enter the lvl with more than 3 ppl, its gonna be a blood bath!

Ant map maker can enable his map for bots or monsters only doing this when finished...:

From D3 console type "TestMap mapnamexxx" (withoutquotes)

And with these easy command will be generated all the .aasxxx or at least the .aas48 needed for bots/npsc/monsters/pets navigation.

Please, think in all people that want to play with bots/monsters/pets in all those great maps.

For example, in my mod d3newai when the weapon_fists are selected pressing reload key will spawn 5 to 10 random monsters/zombies, i play many times with them in MP maps !!!

lol, glad that you like the map! next time ill use caulk on my maps and ill look in that bots/pets thing you were talking about.

Can you make the glass breakable ?
