Sobig's Performance Script - File Description

Description:
This file contains a ready-to-use script that intends to increase your fps count. Most of the lines in the script are commented so you can adjust them if required. Besides, it binds some keys to cheat commands such as god, noclip, notarget ... but you should first check that they don't override existing bindings. Plus, I think that cheats must be enabled before they can be used (e.g. loading a map with 'devmap' ...).

At last, the readme provides a few gameplay hints and useful keys notably one that you can use to put Doom 3 in the taskbar instantly.

Posts: 544 		seta image_cacheMegs "256" - this should be 1/4 of your available ram, you don't want all but 192mb of your ram being used for textures!

com_videoRam "1024" - not how much RAM you have, how much VIDEO RAM you have, most likely 64, 128 or 256.

You repeated image_anistropy twice setting two different values.

Posts: 316 		Also, don't use CTRL+ALT+ESCAPE to minimize D3: it doesn't at all. I was forced to do a reset because I couldn't shut down D3. This shortcut gives the focus to Windows' taskbar but D3 still stays in the foreground!
