Description:
Dafama2k7 is back, and he brings an updated version of his re-worked version of Vortex_NG, this copy comes complete with bug fixes, and is sure to enhance your Doom3 gaming experience!

If you enjoyed BFG Vortex (2.0), and have had fun playing the spin-off Vortex_NG (v3.0.5), then this download is for you! Dafama2k7 has done a great job of continuing the work of FireDemon666 by updating this weapon mod and keeping things fresh and fun for the D3 gamer's enjoyment!

To give you more bang for your BFG buck, now when you fire your weapon, the fireball will drag or throw any movable object within it's path. If you're also a Quake IV fan, then this will all seem vaguely familiar, that is because this weapon can be considered a clone of the DMG (Dark Material Gun) weapon! To add that little something extra to your gaming experience, once fired, this weapon will now cause any barrel that is full of fuel or toxic waste that is in it's path to explode and/or burn.

Something new in this mod includes a specialHellknight, which has been enhanced by PBMax and updated by Dafama2K7; This enhanced demon is capable of throwing zombies and characters that they encounter

New Features of the New Vortex_NG v3.1 !



This small mod makes the BFG weapon not only to throw enemies, but now also to drag or throw any moveable object around the fireball that is launched by the BFG weapon, this is a clone of the DMG (Dark Material Gun) weapon present in Quake IV !!!

Also is able to explodes/burns any barrel that are full of fuel or toxic waste that the fire launched by this NEW BFG encounters at they're pass !

Also includes the special Hellknight (enhanced) by PBMax and updated by me, that throws zombies and characters they encounters and the special Imp (enhanced) by PBMax and updated by me, that throws moveable objects such as barrels and throws to the player !!!

To install simply drag the Vortex folder to Doom 3 folder, not base !

This is version 2.0 of the BFG vortex. This includes a small script modification that prevents the vortex from sucking in monsters with over 1000 health. Simpley put, unless you have some sort of mod pack installed, anything more powerful than a hellknight will NOT be sucked into the vortex. This of course means the problems with the vortex ragdolling boss monsters has been fixed :). Full credit for the creation the BFG Vortex still goes to the original authors such as mwoody, soulfoot, and floodanxiety. Thank you soulfoot for allowing me to release the perfected code and version 2. Perfection of the code was done by FireDemon666, but for the main part I really should not take any credit for this. For it was pbmax who held my hand through the whole ordeal and just about wrote the script for me. Technically my first mod. I thanks you for your help.

can u make that pinky will grab a zombie or a chair with his mouth n throw it at u?

and that the zombies will throw thir wrench (if they have one)

Zombies that are able to pick & throw wrench or PDA's or any other small moveable object is one of the things i am thinking to include, also i will like to make some zombie walking and trying to use the PDA ! lol, you know, like in some terror movies that you see zombies trying to do normal things, like hearing music or seeing a movie, he he !!!

Also, the Pinky grabing a zombie or a chair and throwing at you is not a bad idea, i will try to convert the Hellknight script to launch zombies or the Imp script to launch objects, because this are two different scripts, mhh, maybe, maybe... stick out tongue

That have bettered many things and added also a zombie_fat capable of taking movable objects and throwing to the player, ha ha, it's great ! big grin
