It has been awhile since this mod has seen a revision, but, Dafama2k7 is back, and he brings an updated version of his re-worked variant of Vortex_NG, this copy comes complete with bug fixes, and is sure to enhance your Doom3 gaming experience!

If you enjoyed BFG Vortex (2.0), and have had fun playing the spin-off Vortex_NG (v3.1), then this download is for you! Dafama2k7 has done a great job of continuing the work of FireDemon666 by updating this weapon mod and keeping things fresh and fun for the D3 gamer's enjoyment!

To give you more bang for your BFG buck, now when you fire your weapon, the fireball will drag or throw any movable object within it's path. If you're also a Quake IV fan, then this will all seem vaguely familiar, that is because this weapon can be considered a clone of the DMG (Dark Material Gun) weapon! To add that little something extra to your gaming experience, once fired, this weapon will now cause any barrel that is full of fuel or toxic waste that is in it's path to explode and/or burn.

Something that has been added to the previous version, and is also present in this download, is the specialHellknight, which has been enhanced by PBMax and updated by Dafama2K7; This enhanced demon is capable of throwing zombies and characters that they encounter. Something new to Vortex_NG is zombie_fat which is able to launch objects such as barrels or chairs.

	Readme File: New Features of the New Vortex_NG v3.2 ! This small mod makes the BFG weapon not only to throw enemies, but now also to drag or throw any moveable object around the fireball that is launched by the BFG weapon, this is a clone of the DMG (Dark Material Gun) weapon present in Quake IV !!! Also is able to explodes/burns any barrel that are full of fuel or toxic waste that the fire launched by this NEW BFG encounters at they're pass ! Also includes the special Hellknight (enhanced) by PBMax and updated by me, that throws zombies and characters they encounters to the player and the special Imp (enhanced) by PBMax and updated by me, that grabs moveable objects such as barrels and throws to the player and also the special zombie_Fat (enhanced) by me and based on the code by PBMax, that takes moveable objects such as barrels and throws to the player !!! To install simply drag the Vortex folder to Doom 3 folder, not base ! Old docs by FireDemon666 This is version 2.0 of the BFG vortex. This includes a small script modification that prevents the vortex from sucking in monsters with over 1000 health. Simpley put, unless you have some sort of mod pack installed, anything more powerful than a hellknight will NOT be sucked into the vortex. This of course means the problems with the vortex ragdolling boss monsters has been fixed :). Full credit for the creation the BFG Vortex still goes to the original authors such as mwoody, soulfoot, and floodanxiety. Thank you soulfoot for allowing me to release the perfected code and version 2. Perfection of the code was done by FireDemon666, but for the main part I really should not take any credit for this. For it was pbmax who held my hand through the whole ordeal and just about wrote the script for me. Technically my first mod. I thanks you for your help. DMG is Dark Matter Gun, not "material." stick out tongue

This mod contains new levels ?

Really have you played all D3 great SP maps available on the Internet, tell me, i have played almost all and i replay many, today i have replayed Omega Labs and yesterday i was replaying Evacuation Protocol, the first using the updated by me MaxGfx mod and the other with the updated by me GTX mod latest ! smile

So this versions will be playable on D3 BASE, removing they're ROE only features or change it by another D3 features, he he, i will start by CodeRed or Temple maybe... smile
