neuro-lab.net presents to you a new modification for Doom 3... x - MASS! The story behind this great download starts off with your car has broken down and you're lost in a fog at some ass-end town. Something's not right and you find yourself fighting more than the typical Christmas Rush to get your sweetheart's gift - and yourself - home for the holidays.

Three new winter themed maps, including the Foggy Town, the Icy Lake and Castle Turtlenstein.
Eight completely new weapons including the Wrench, Commander Keen Zapper, Remington shotgun, Thompson Gun, Voodoo Doll, Instant Zombie Present Grenade, the x-MASS Nuke Launcher and the Mace.

I have to give my apologies for not having this file up in time for Christmas, as it was, I became super busy with real life stuff and had no time to get on-line...the good thing about this map is that it is right at home in any winter location...so enjoy nonetheless!

REQUIREMENTS
- Doom 3 Patched to 1.3.1
- 200 MB of free HD space
You can use the EXE installer or the ZIP package. For the installer run xmas_setup.exe follow the instructions
on screen, the destination folder have to be your Doom 3 folder:
eg. X:Program FilesDoom 3
For the ZIP version extract the content into your Doom 3 folder.
Once you have installed it, run Doom 3 and on the mainmenu select Mods, you should see x - MASS listed.
If you have problems to run the mod from the mainmenu, you can run the xmass.bat included into the mod folder.
Mac OSX/Linux:
Use the ZIP version, extract it into your Doom 3 folder:
eg. X:Program FilesDoom 3
Run Doom 3 and on the mainmenu select Mods, you should see x - MASS listed.
Steam:
On the Steam version of Doom 3 you can use the EXE installer or install it manually from the ZIP.
You have to extract the content in your Doom 3/Steam folder:
Replace "yout_steam_account" with your Steam account.
Once you installed it, run Doom 3 from Steam, and from the mainmenu select Mods. You should see x - Mass listed.
If you want to run the mod diretly from Steam, follow these steps:
1- Right-click on Doom 3 icon in your games list
2- Select Properties
3- Select General Tab and then Set Launh Options.
4- add the command line: +set fs_game xmass
5- Run Doom 3.
If you want to run Doom 3 normally just delete the command line.
NOTE: Don't try tu run the mod from the xmass.bat file in the mod folder, Steam doesn't support it.
UNINSTALL
Just delete the folder "xmass" from your Doom 3 folder.
-KNOWN ISSUES
If you fire your Instant Zombie on a wall, may remain stuck.
