ALL READ: Lack of Site Updates; All Staff returns from a break on Hawai! - Network News

Well, we wish we were  What really happened and what´s responsible for the serious lack of updates since last wednesday is the fact that we lost our email access.
What was supposed to be a simple migration of mail and all related services from one server to another turned out to be a complete disaster where error after mistake after f*k up was made by the company, who will remain unmentioned, we hired for all our security and maintenance related stuff for our server park.
Now, tuesday, almost noon, everything is finally fixed and everyone is able to access their email again.
Now during most of this period, email was not properly received. For several days, email sent to any address on our server (about 300 email accounts) was directed to 1 address. I´ll be logging in shortly and deal with the ±4,000 emails in there and distribute them to the appropriate person
So please if you´ve sent in a file after last wednesday evening (european time) and before monday evening, please hold off on resending for now and if your file is still not posted by this friday, resend it (and also include a note that you´ve sent your file earlier during our email downtime)
Please accept my sincere apologies for this inconvenience, it sure hasn´t been easy for me, in fact the last 5 days were the worst days of 2004 for me so far but it should be all up-hill from here.
Let´s get back to work and give you your daily dose of files ´n news shall we!

Again, its not any future game demo. Yes, it has something to do with FilesNetwork.com and its sub-sites.
No, it won't be disappointing and no actual release date will be given except for "Its due in March".
Just to spoil u guys further, there *may* be *another* surprise coming in June 2004! It will be totally different from this one in March.
To all those who think i am bluffing well, i am not. I am an FN member of staff and i DO know what the surprise is. So, stay tuned to FN!
To those who have e-mailed news/files, please re-e-mail them as mailing servers are now back up!

Deisler, no, u are wrong, there IS a surprise ever since the start. There will also be another towards the middle of the year. Again, NO, this is NOT a 'gimmick' to attract people to our sites. You shall be proved wrong in March 2004!
Pro-Filer, no worries, i'm sure most people are still filled with suspense and sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for it!

i changed it because me and a friend are making a stunts movie for battlefield and its by me (lord dukington) and my friend... he does not have a files network account yet but ill get him to activate one and inform you on what his account name is.. ne wayz im about 1 or 2 months from finishing this movie (i have to learn how to put credits and edit the movie for better quality)(im only 15 aswell) but i have shot alot of random stunts so far.
ne way by ne chance could mr greg make a part to to his movie making guide cause i have to figure alot of the editing things out b4 i can start work on putting it all together o well i hope it turns out well...
