  Doom 3 Hexen Edge of Chaos video - Mods

An in-game video has just been released of the upcoming Doom 3 Total Conversion : Hexen Edge of Chaos that will feature new weapons , enemies , power-ups and much more .

The video is exactly 3.59 minutes long and it shows alot of their improvment over the last few months .


Cant wait to get the beta wink

Anyway, I love the way this looks. The outdoor environments are VERY convincing, and the play seems smooth and very Hexen-like.

I wish I could have seen the Wraithverge in action though =(

I noticed that when the video gets to the part with the demon skull spitting out water to show off the water texture, you can see the ground MOVING, just like the organic growth in the Doom3 SP maps.

The video also seemed reluctant to actually jump into the water and show any water-player interaction, so perhaps there isn't going to be any, or it just isn't done? Or maybe they have it and just didn't show it off.

Love the telekinesis though...very cool stuff (same guy who made the gravgun mod) Wonder if it will be the same thing as with the gravgun, where you have to press Reload to fire, or whether there will be an alt-fire or something for throwing things.

Posts: 31 		DOOM 3 and green environments? No way! This is really amazing, I can't wait for it to come out. It looks like it'll take a while for that though. I really would pay for this. Looks like Id has some competition against RoE. Keep up the great work and be sure to shower us in updates and preview videos....and maybe even a little playable beta test Roll Eyes (sarcastic)

Posts: 6 		woah really enjoyed the video, first i thought it was going to be some kind of newbie mod but it turned out that in fact it might be a very cool mod,also really enjoyed the background music , they should stick with that theme smile
