For those of you wondering about the different graphics cards and need a guide, this is pretty helpful. It doesn't have everything on it, but has lots of different cards. Hopefully this will aid in making any graphics card decision you might have. I found this on http://www.tomshardware.com.

Here is the guide

Doom3 was originally tested on and made for a beta r300 chip (radeon 9700 series) which was one of the first direct x 9 cards....then the r350 came out...and now the r360....but....only cards with 8 pixel pipelines will be able to play this game at high res (ie 256bit)....and some r300 350 and 360 cards are 128 bits.....the 256bit list includes the 9700/pro/xt 9500/pro/xt and 9800/pro/xt...the 128bit versions of this chip series will be able to play this game with full graphics as well...but with half the performance....on the nvidia side....the same pretty much applies...and the only 256bit cards they make are the fx5900/ultra and the fx5950/ultra....hope this helps in decisions
