MoviesOnline, a Canadian movie-oriented website has posted 16 news stills from the movie. They also report that BlackFilm would too have "some kick ass new photos worth checking out".

    The Doom Movie just turned out to be just like Resident Evil. Really bad storyline.

    They changed it from demons from hell to a virus.

    And if you read this issue of Fangoria the Pinky demon is just a mutated person
    Look at the photo of the guy in the wheel chair thing his name is "Pinky"
    And the worst thing of all... Pretty much the whole movie is going to be shot in first person prespective.


    But the main point is.... Why can't they be demons from Hell!!!! I mean that's the whole point that made the original game so contraversial

    Might wanna do your homework next time. In the movie, it's left ambigous whether or not the monsters are from Hell. From something I read, it's something about a gene in the human body that turns people into a demon or some cheezy ***** like that. Either way, they're demons through and through.

    When it was first announced that there was going to be a movie I thought it was probably going to end up being a complete washout but after seeing the trailers and pics etc..I think it's going to be amazing. If you watch the latest clips from the movie, the demons are amazing looking, looks really like the game and some of it is shot in first person but that just makes it feel more like the game and makes it exciting. Basically once it's released you'll either like it or you wont...that simple.

    To kylestater, you obviously don't have a friggin' clue as to what you're trying to talk about. Don't even compare it to Resident Evil, guy.

    Those movies (including those dang Mortal Kombat movies) were thought up by Paul W. S . Anderson, who obviously has no idea what those games were all about.

    This DOOM movie, however, wasn't touched by Paul A. (thank God),so you won't have to worry about DOOM getting a bad rep simply because some jerk doesn't have respect for the gaming community.

    And as for those first-person scenes you're refering to, they don't comprise the entire movie. In fact, I think they greatly improve the scope this movie has. So what if the storyline really doesn't follow the games it''s based on - I think you can divert the plotline (but just a little) from a game, and still have a top-notch blockbuster.

    Besides, this movie is supposed to appeal to almost everyone over 18, whether they be hardcore fans of the series, or just people who want to see an awesome action flick.

    Err... I will see it if I hear good things about it, otherwise, I might watch it on one of the TV movie channels.
