Do you think Doom III could use another patch?

We need an official patch that provides a smooth transition between the differences in the mods that require v1.3 and those that require v1.3.1.

No,We need Doom 4 ! With build in Coop mode and Spawnable NPC that HELP you fight , Like marines !

Well, you could indeed combine some mods to give you a "pre" Doom 4 experiance i suppose, once Recall to Hell comes out use that for Doom 4's base, put the pet mod in and command demons from hell to help you, or download the NPC one, i had that one in Annihilation 4.0 but it didn't really go over too well. Really i think id Software should make a patch and have the community make Doom 4. That'd be pretty cool.

And i hope they have a running Doom 4 at least for 2010, but with a technology that makes the environment to be as realistic and scary that not all people will be able to play it without crying and running into a room that are dark but not BLACK DARK, i want a more realistic DARK TRANSITION, i want monsters that cannot be taken care of because with time i see them as friends, for example, the Imp is like my dog for me, i like it, it don't scare me, i love the Imp, the Revenant, the Pinky, the Zombies, ha ha, mhh, i am going to diffuse.. STOP. big grin

i hope they have d4 by then, but i won't be sad if they wait. Instead, i'd like to see the community make a robust mutliplayer. As kennybpy points out npc helpers, those would be cool. Also: class based fighting (ie:marines v. demons), also dungeon quest (active dungeon master spawning monster and perpetuating conflict), expansive outdoor environments, chainsaw that removes limbs stuff, instead of just bloody gore and then gib.

I would love to see DooM IV come out, put both BFG-9k and BFG-10k from quake 2, as well as railgun, and grenade launcher. Also if they had a REAL spider mastermind not vagary (or her with dual chain guns in each hand).
At least it will come out when Duke Nukem Forever comes out.
And it will be FRAGULAS!

To realisticness, I want it at least as good as the holodeck or better hee hee smile

Posts: 27 		well i dont know if doom 4 is comeing i hope it would and i hpoe it still use's the doom 3 engine
